A few months ago I told you I was inspired with the look of vintage clothing and accessories these days. Well, in my quest to come up with some more unique fashion looks, I stumbled upon this fantastic site: www.Modcloth.com. Founded by high school sweethearts, Eric Koger and Susan Gregg Koger, and built on a foundation of love for vintage and retro clothing, ModCloth.com is an online clothing, accessories, and decor retailer.
It was actually Susan’s love of vintage clothing that started this business. Susan loved vintage clothes and retro styles so much that she started her own online boutique to sell it in (hence, Modcloth) in 2002 when both she and her boyfriend (now husband) were just college students at Carnegie Mellon University.
Today, ModCloth has grown into one of the best sources for vintage inspired fashion and indie designers including those of BB Dakota, Tulle, Nick & Mo, Stop Staring, Jeffrey Campbell, Mink Pink, Gentle Fawn and more.
