If you didn’t get a chance to watch The Golden Globes this past Sunday, here is a recap on the fashion scoop. It was all about jewel tones! I cannot believe the number of actors who wore emerald green. These included:
Angelina Jolie who wore an emerald green Atelier Versace dress, Catherine Zeta Jones in a Monique Lhuillier, Elisabeth Moss in a custom Donna Karan and Mila Kunis in Vera Wang. Additionally, there were quite a few who wore red, including January Jones, who is currently the face of Versace, and absolutely rocking a number from that designer. Co-star Christina Hendricks also wore red, a Romona Keveza gown.
My favorite? Absolutely hands down, January Jones. She looked absolutely gorgeous in that sexy and daring Versace gown. I could never get away with it, but she has the perfect body and honestly, it just blew all the other gowns away.
My other favorites included Olivia Wilde in a sparkling chocolate Marchesa and Kyra Sedgwick, who I once saw in person in New York City, and looked always elegant in an orange/yellow Emilio Pucci. Halle Berry wore a lingerie-inspired Nina Ricci dress, and although not one of my favorites, I do admit that Halle looked quite edgy wearing it.
Ahhhh… awards season! Wonder what the Oscars will bring?
