Single Brew Systems Make Coffee Easy

Forget the traditional coffee maker!  It’s time to innovate with the times.  Over the holidays, we all went to my sister’s place to hang out in her cool, cosmopolitan neighborhood.  After a few hours of walking around and window-shopping, we all retreated back to her place to have our afternoon teas, coffees, or hot chocolates (all of us with different orders) because we could… with her Keurig.

Keurig (www.keurig.com) is a wonderful and convenient brewing system.  Keurig makes single cup coffee makers for the home and office and anyone can brew a wide variety of gourmet coffees, teas, hot cocoas, or even hot apple cider… one cup at a time in under 60 seconds with just a touch of a button.  It’s so easy to do – all you have to do is insert your selected K-Cup flavor into the machine, and voila, it will brew that specific blend.

With over 200 varieties of K-Cups to choose from, it’s always easy to find the beverage that suits you, and it doesn’t have to be the same as your mom’s or dad’s or brother’s or sister’s!  Diverse brands such as Tully’s, Gloria Jean’s, Emeril’s, Newman’s Own, and Diedrich’s are available in these K-Cup servings so you can even choose different coffees from your favorite brewer.

If you are a die-hard Starbucks fan, you’ll have to get the Tassimo brewer (which works the same way as a Keurig).  And, if you want espressos, the Nespresso machine will similarly brew a single cup.

But, whether you pick a Keurig, Tassimo or Nespresso, one thing’s for sure – it’s no longer necessary to brew an entire pot of the same flavor of coffee.  Single brew systems make sense for these times when all of want different things and we value our individuality.

Prices range from $100-$300 depending on which model you select.
