I saw this picture below in an issue of Coastal Living magazine and I just loved it. I love the mosaic backsplash in the kitchen. The white cabinetry paired with the ocean blue mosaic tiles and striped rug really gives this kitchen a sunny, beachy feel. It is so bright and happy and it makes me want to re-do my kitchen so it looks similar to this; I’m so inspired! Not sure if that will happen quite right away, but… on my wish list, anyway!

Of course, it at least made me want to investigate some tile options and I found some gorgeous ones from Mosaic House, a New York City tile shop that specializes in Moroccan tiles. They have absolutely the most beautiful selection of handmade and handpainted ceramic, cement and chiseled tile. Here are some of the options I love:
