A Few Changes

When I first started writing this blog, I had a little more free time. But now I’m finding myself pretty swamped with some of my consulting projects, and especially this week, with the Sweets and Snacks Expo next week, I could not write my Wednesday or Thursday posts in as thoughtful and thorough a manner as I am accustomed. So, I just did not write them.

It was hard for me to do that because I have already set a pattern of writing 5 days/week (Monday – Friday with designated topics for each day), and have done that consistently for almost 8 months now. But, as I said when I first began writing this blog, I did this because I love to write, and this blog was my outlet to write, as well as share with you all my little secrets and cool things on my radar screen.

Anyway, I guess what I’m preparing you for is to not expect a post every day now. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the same kind of time to dedicate, and I don’t want to just put something out there to put something out there. I want to continue to produce, what I believe, is quality content, and give you the scoop or insight on something I think is worth writing about, and that takes research and time. I also don’t want to lose my love of writing this blog, and if I pressure myself in writing a post every day just because I’ve already established that pattern, it will feel more like a chore than something I just love to do. And I don’t want to do that! I want to continue loving to write this blog.

So, thank you again so much to all my faithful readers, friends and fans! I truly appreciate you and am so grateful and hope you’ll remain excited about reading my posts, which will still be frequent; maybe just not every day. It’s crazy to see how much traffic has grown on this site, and I am so overjoyed when I hear the feedback of how the posts have resonated with you, or really brought meaning to you somehow, or made you think about something in a different way or gave you the scoop on something you had never heard about. I truly love that and hope I continue to do that for you!

With that, I leave you with this quote I spotted and love:

“You can take no credit for beauty at sixteen. But if you are beautiful at sixty, it will be your soul’s own doing.” – Marie Stopes

Hoping to continue to bring more beauty and insight for your soul! Have a great weekend!
