Mingling at the L’Oreal Youth Code Event at The Kopelson Clinic, Beverly Hills

L’Oreal Paris and renown dermatologist Peter L. Kopelson hosted a wonderful cocktail party last Tuesday, June 28th at the Kopelson Clinic in Beverly Hills, CA so that select beauty influencers and experts could hear the latest in-office and at-home skin care innovations, take away a new perspective on genes, and get a customized pair of jeans from the designer denim retailer, The Blues Jean Bar.

It was a beautifully planned event by Alison Brod PR, and I of course, was so grateful and incredibly honored to be invited.

As many of you know, I think highly of L’Oreal, having worked for several years at their 575 Fifth Avenue headquarters in NYC upon graduation from business school. I truly respect L’Oreal and their products, knowing first-hand that before any product hits the shelf, they have put years of research and development to ensure it is the best and latest technology out in the market. In fact, L’Oreal’s Youth Code skincare collection is backed by 10 years of gene research that’s internationally patented.

Well, with the Youth Code Skincare Collection, women can now receive the most scientifically advanced topical anti-aging treatment. The collection includes four products that are specially formulated with the latest development in gene science, and is clinically proven to energize the repair gene expression, and unveil younger-acting skin… which is perfect for me and exactly what I need!

With age and continued exposure to environmental stressors, the skin regenerates less quickly. Youth Code is specially formulated with Biolysat, Adenosine and enhanced with peptides that make the skin act faster and younger.

Score! I’m not getting younger, that’s for sure. But now who can tell?? The formula’s powerful combination of ingredients have left my skin feeling luminous and looking younger.

The four products in the L’Oreal Youth Code Skincare Collection (all priced at $24.99) are:

1)    Youth Code Serum Intense, 1.0 fl. oz.

2)    Youth Code SPF 30 Day Lotion, 1.7 fl. oz.

3)    Youth Code Day/Night Cream, 1.6 fl. oz.

4)    Youth Code Eye Cream, 0.5 fl. oz.

For my guys out there, I was also given a sample of the L’Oreal Paris Men’s Expert Hydra-Energetic Ice Cold Eye Roller ($10.99). I know I should have given this to my boyfriend so that he could combat the appearance of dark circles and under-eye puffiness, but I am using it for myself! I love the ice cold-on-contact roller ball with the instant de-puffing effect.

It was such an educational and enlightening evening. Special thanks to Shanna and Monica at Alison Brod PR for pulling off a flawless eventI was thrilled to also catch up and meet other beauty editors and bloggers, especially Ning Chao of Beautylish and Marie Denee of The Curvy Fashionista, and of course, hear Dr. Kopelson, a Columbia University graduate and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology specializing in cosmetic procedures and laser treatments, speak. He is quite impressive, and I hope to share his profile with you at a later date, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, I’m totally loving my L’Oreal Youth Code products!
