In an effort to capture some interesting photos while wearing my T.I.L. dresses and get some culture on at the same time, my dear friend Jeff and I went to The Hammer Museum in Los Angeles this past weekend. Affiliated with UCLA (The Hammer Museum is one of three public arts units of the School of Arts and Architecture at UCLA), the Hammer Museum is a unique, cutting-edge arts institution that connects the classics and the contemporary through its varied collections, wide-ranging exhibitions, and provocative programs.
While we were there, we were able to catch a retrospective of work by American artist Paul Thek, and an installation from Ed Ruscha of his perspective of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road. Fascinating art, and a really wonderful and beautiful architectural space.
It was the perfect venue to show off my “Boob Tube Maxi Dress” (a steal at $11!), and my “Flower Charm Red Rubber 10 Strand Bracelet,” which cost almost as much ($10), but still quite a bargain.
What do you think? Isn’t it worth the $21? Of course, there are more beautiful items like these available at the T.I.L. Darling site (www.theonlineclothingboutique.com). Check it out!
