We celebrated my baby’s 1st birthday earlier this month with a fun dinosaur birthday at our nearby neighborhood park.
I cannot believe how fast the year flew. I know the majority of parents say that about the first year of their baby’s life, but it really is true. It was one of the most amazing years of my life and I echo the sentiment of so many moms (and dads) that the addition of my little boy really does bring such immense love and joy in life.
That being said, of course I had to give him a birthday party!
Here are just some of the fun details:
Balloons, goody bags for all of the kids, and dinosaur decorations all around. The 4’ blow-up dinosaur was a fun punching bag for the kids!
Fun signs and stickers I made using a great Etsy download.
Tent/tunnel and dinosaur ball pool were added play “stations” aside from the park’s great swings and slides.
Even Buster had to go along with the theme! I dressed him up as a dinosaur, too.
Dinosaur plates and dinosaur food labels for the different pizza flavors.
Dinosaur cookie favors for all the adult guests! Kids got their own goody bags filled with items including dinosaur bubbles, dinosaur crayons, dinosaur bath toys, and dinosaur stamps.
Last but not least, shout out to our AMAZING balloon guy, Gabriel! https://www.yelp.com/biz/gabriel-balloons-newport-beach A total master! Of course he created a dinosaur for my baby, but he made some amazing creations for all of our guests!
