I love the holidays! It is the most wonderful… and most creative time of the year! When else do you see the most delicious and elaborately decorated baked goods aplenty? Personally, I had a jam-packed weekend with several goody parties – first a Holiday dessert party, and then a cookie exchange, so I have loaded up on lots of delectable treats. So bad, but baked goods are so beautiful, aren’t they?
As part of my cookie exchange, I made some delicious oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, but since they didn’t seem festive enough (although the recipe came from “The 100 Best Holiday Cookies”) , I also made some marshmallow snowmen to channel some winter/holiday cheer. I had such a fun time making both goodies, but best of all, it is always so fun spending time with dear friends.
Here are some fun holiday dessert photos to get you started in the spirit of the holidays (if you aren’t there already!). More holiday photos to come!
