For those of you in the beauty world, the winners of the 2011 CEW Beauty Awards will be announced May 20th. For those of you who aren’t, CEW stands for Cosmetic Executive Women, and every year, the most innovative new products are voted on by CEW members (obviously, members are those that are affiliated with the cosmetic and beauty industries). There are several categories, including Bath and Body, Facial Skincare, Hair, Makeup, Scent, Men’s Grooming, Eco Beauty Award, Sun, and even an Indie Award that recognizes independent companies that are less than 5 years old.
Lots of my favorite new products are in the running, but the one I want to spotlight (once again) is Bare Escentuals Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow. As I’ve already stated, this is seriously one of my favorite new eye products and I’m glad it has been chosen as one of the Best 2011 Eye Products in the Prestige Market.
The other finalists in the running for this category include Dior Maximizer Lash Serum, Lancome’s Definicils Precious Cells High Definition Amplifying Mascara, MAC’s Haute & Naughty Lash, and YSL Beaute’s Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Noir Radical.
